Since the laying down of the fibre optic from 2009 to date and ongoing as more players use it to attract customers, Internet connectivity has improved and prices have dropped. The more revolutionary mobile internet services led by the giant Safaricom and the influx of smart phones from Nokia is closing the gap of the availability of internet to Kenyan users.
Kenya has over 2.5million Facebook users and growing every day yet far away from the real goal of enticing brands and customer engagement.
Thus, it provides the opportunity for brands or companies to come on board experiment and learn to create a better engagement with their current customers.
Social media has revolutionized the way we communicate, share and interact and this has provided the platforms and the marketing networks for bloggers to achieve global reach and influence.
